Meet the Teachers Day!

This morning we went to meet the girls' teachers. It sounded simple enough, but it was more of an event, with papers to fill out, things to buy, etc. We got there at 10:30 and barely had enough time to make it to both classrooms by noon! That of course included diaper changes and snacks for the babes ;) M&M did great by the way, and we met another twin mommy with 5 kids!

Anya's teacher is Mrs. Flurry. She seemed super nice, and very organized. Anya was happy, except for the part that she shared her desk triangle with two boys ;) She also wanted to bring pretty pencils but the teachers requested yellow #2 only. I really hate when all the supplies get dumped into one big lump for all the kids to share. So much for the cute notebook and folders Anya picked too :(

Ally really didn't get to meet her teacher or see her classroom yet. Surprisingly, the k, 1st, and 4th grades are all really full and depending on how enrollment goes today they may be hiring new teachers tonight! Crazy, huh? So we will go back on Thursday to find out which teacher Ally got and see her room. Today we met all 6 of the Kindergarten teachers briefly though and they were all very sweet. Ally was very shy, and could barely answer what her name was! I'll be honest, I'm a little worried for her. I think it'll be good that we are going back one more time before school starts Friday.
