Our house is now off the market! We're renting it to the new flight doctor that is coming to McConnell to replace Josh. I haven't met him, but his wife is a really lovely person from New Orleans, and they have a 9 month old baby girl named Madeline. It would have been really great to sell the house, but we're just glad that a nice family is going to be here taking care of things for us. It would be amazing if we could return to McConnell in 3 years, but who knows what is in store for us.
As far as the move goes, it's finally happening on Monday. This move has seemed to drag on and on! The packers will be here Mon-Tues-Wed, and then they will load the truck on Thursday. We should hopefully have our stuff by the 6th or 7th. Josh can't come back during the week to help, but thankfully my mom is coming on Sunday to entertain the girls. Josh originally thought that I would just take care of everything, and then drive with the girls by myself to St Louis. I figured he would be coming back to help me out. So after a lengthy discussion about whether a $250 plane ticket was worth it or not, he will be flying in on Friday to make the drive back with us.
Now we just need to decide where we are spending the 4th of July. If everything goes smoothly we could be in our new empty house by then, or we might make a trip out of it, and spend the 4th in Kansas City. Knowing Josh we will just keep driving. I like to stop about every 2-3 hrs, we drive each other crazy!
